Forco Connector.

The small, free WordPress plugin that lets your Forco assistant build and update pages on your site for you. It's the site-side half of the WordPress updates skill.

One authenticated route. No outbound connections. Revocable any time by deactivating the plugin.

Forco Connector is the bridge between your WordPress site and your Forco assistant. When you ask Forco to build or change a page, this plugin is what lets it do the work safely — through a single, narrowly-scoped, authenticated route, using its own private key instead of your admin login.

Why the plugin exists

WordPress on its own can't do everything Forco needs. WordPress core's built-in connection (its REST API) can edit ordinary posts and pages, but it can't write the data behind a page builder like Elementor — that data is locked away, and Elementor has no public way to create a builder page from the outside.

Forco Connector closes that gap. It adds one safe doorway so your Forco assistant can create and update builder-native pages cleanly, the same way you would inside the editor — just by email or a Telegram message instead.

What it does

  • Mints its own private key. When you activate it, the plugin creates its own scoped key. Forco reads that key once and then stops touching your admin login entirely. Every change after that uses the plugin's own key — never your password.
  • One job, one route. The single write route creates or updates a page with builder data only. It is not a general-purpose code or file endpoint — it can't reach the rest of your site.
  • Backs up before it overwrites. Before changing an existing page, it saves the current design first, so any change can be undone.
  • Rate-limited and authenticated. Every request is checked and throttled. Nothing happens unless Forco asks for it on your behalf.

Privacy and safety

  • No outbound connections. The plugin never phones home, never loads remote code, and never sends your data anywhere on its own. It only ever receives the page changes Forco sends it.
  • You stay in control. Deactivate or delete the plugin at any time and the scoped key is removed — access is revoked instantly.
  • Least privilege by design. It can't touch WordPress core, your database, or wp-config.php. Those belong to a developer, not a content assistant.

The bigger picture: more tools over time

Forco Connector is the first of what will become a small toolkit. As Forco learns to do more on WordPress sites, it may need other companion tools to make those changes cleanly and safely — each one narrow, each one optional, each one installed only when the work calls for it. The Connector is where that starts.

How to get it

Forco Connector is free and listed on the official WordPress.org plugin directory. If Forco is setting up your site for you, your onboarding installs and connects it automatically — you don't have to lift a finger. If you'd rather install it yourself, search for "Forco Connector" in your WordPress admin under Plugins → Add New.

The plugin is the site-side half of Forco — a paid service that edits your WordPress site for you when you ask by email or Telegram. See how the WordPress skill works, or read the terms and privacy policy.
